Meeting with Representatives of the State Customs Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv Region

As part of Career Week at Karazin University, a meeting was held today with representatives of the State Customs Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region on the topic "Combating Customs Violations: How Four-Legged 'Customs Officers' Work."
The speakers were Kateryna Hunko, Head of the Personnel Department of Kharkiv Customs, and Serhii Hrytsenko, Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Violations of Kharkiv Customs.
During this career discussion, participants gained insights into the customs profession, career opportunities in this field, interesting stories from customs officers' experiences, and efforts to combat smuggling and customs violations. Representatives of the State Customs Service also showcased hidden compartments used by smugglers attempting to transport contraband across the border.
Karazin University also welcomed two special guests — Alvarez and Amina, four-legged customs officers. Attendees enjoyed a spectacular demonstration of the service skills of these canine customs assistants.
