Completion of the Project 'Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success in Times of Crisis'
Students of Karazin University received certificates for successfully completing their studies within the international project "Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success in Times of Crisis," supported by DAAD.
From April to July 2024, students studied various English-language interactive courses remotely. Additionally, 25 university students received financial support in the amount of 600 euros.
The project has been implemented at Karazin University since 2022 and aims to provide comprehensive support to both faculty and students. Over three years, more than 30 faculty members participated in academic mobility programs in Germany, where they received training and developed a series of engaging interactive courses.
During the project’s implementation, 119 student scholarships were awarded to support continued education.
The trainers and developers of the English-language courses for the latest phase were representatives of the Education and Research Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business": Olena Mykolenko, Nataliya Danko, Anna Chkheilo, Alina Kalashnikova, Iryna Denchyk, Larysa Tiesheva, and Valeria Baranova, who also took part in the World Congress in Berlin.
This project was made possible thanks to the support of Professors Ewald Mittelstadt and Claudia Wipke, as well as partner universities: South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences and Karlsruhe University of Education.
The project coordinator from Karazin University is Associate Professor Olena Mykolenko from the Education and Research Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Touravel Business."
