Meeting of the Academic Council of the University
At the beginning of the meeting, a ceremonial award presentation took place on the occasion of the 221st anniversary of the University’s founding. Certificates of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine were awarded to Vice-Rector Anton Panteleimonov, Professor Valerii Lisovskyi, and Associate Professor Viacheslav Khardikov.
University Certificates for conscientious and productive work, high professionalism, and a significant contribution to the development of education and science were awarded to:

Vitalii Karpov, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Management;

Andrii Sotnikov, Professor of the O. I. Akhiezer Department of Nuclear Physics and High Energies;

Yevheniia Chernokova, Professor of the Department of the History of Foreign Literature and Classical Philology.
For diligent work and exemplary performance of official duties, University Certificates were also awarded to employees of administrative, research, and support units, including Yuliia Huhlia, Tetyana Kozlitina, Valeriia Komarova, Iryna Kravchenko, Oksana Kriuchkova, Dariia Pridachina, Iryna Myroniuk, Valeriia Turchenkova, and Vira Yanchenko.
The Rector’s Letter of Appreciation was announced for Yurii Bezkrovnyi, Anton Vorobiov, Vitalii Hrebeniuk, Halyna Kliuieva, Inna Manytska, Pavlo Mokhonko, Yuliia Savchuk, Oleksii Solonetskyi, Viacheslav Chumak, and Oleksii Yankul.
The Academic Council approved the conferral of the academic title of Associate Professor on Hanna Husieva and the title of Professor-Consultant on Mykola Yabluchanskyi. It also supported the inclusion of Yurii Kot in the team of authors of a cycle of scientific works nominated for the Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vasyl Blyndiuk presented the University’s budget for 2026. Vice-Rector for Academic and Research Affairs Anton Panteleimonov reported on the results of the University’s research activities in 2025.
Members of the Academic Council approved decisions regarding the activities of one-time specialized academic councils and the establishment of new councils for dissertation defenses, as well as the creation of the “Karazin Student Hall” Center. Regulations on the structural units of a number of faculties and institutes were approved in a new edition, along with the redistribution of state-funded student places, certificate-based educational programs, and professional development programs.
The Academic Council also approved professional journals and textbooks for publication and considered other issues related to the University’s activities.
