Academic Council of Karazin University

On January 20, a meeting of the Academic Council of Karazin University took place.

At the beginning of the meeting, the awarding of academic titles to Karazin staff was considered:

  • Liliia Zmiiy – Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Sociology and Social Communications;
  • Oksana Hurova – Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language;
  • Maryna Domanovska – Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies;
  • Daria Bozhko – Associate Professor of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines.

During the meeting, vice-rectors raised and approved a number of important topics:

  • Borys Samorodov reported on the development of the university's digital space and amendments to the University Charter;
  • Zarif Nazirov discussed the reception of foreign delegations, groups, individual foreigners, and stateless persons, as well as the implementation of international academic mobility rights;
  • Vasyl Blyndiuk spoke on conducting briefings, training, and knowledge checks on civil protection issues;
  • Anatolii Babichev presented on certificate educational programs and general short-term advanced training programs;
  • Oleksandr Holovko addressed the organization of the educational process and the establishment of one-time specialized academic councils;
  • Anton Panteleimonov proposed nominating a group of authors, including:
    • Pylyp Eduardovych Kuznetsov, Director of the Education and Research Institute "Schoolof Physics and Technology," Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and Associate Professor of the Department of Nuclear and High Energy Physics named after O. I. Akhiezer;
    • Inna Oleksiivna Afanasieva, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Physics and Plasma Physics at the Education and Research Institute "School of Physics and Technology,"
      for participation in the competition for the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Award for "Science Popularization."

Additionally, a number of publications were traditionally approved for printing.
