Meeting of the University's Academic Council

On October 30th, a meeting of the Academic Council of Karazin University took place.

The university's Rector, Tetiana Kaganovska, presented the "Rector's Diploma" to Professor Vladimir Lisovitsky from the Institute of Economic Theory and Economic Management Methods of the School of Economics, in recognition of his high professionalism and diligent work on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

According to the agenda, the members of the Academic Council approved personnel matters and made decisions regarding the conferral of academic titles to researchers.

Vasyl Blindyuk, the Vice-Rector, reported on the university's activities during the autumn-winter period of the 2023/2024 academic year.

The Academic Council of the university approved a series of decisions, including:

• Improving the personnel management system at the university.
• Approving the updated composition of the Council for Physical Education and Sports of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
• Establishing ad hoc specialized academic councils at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University with the authority to consider and conduct one-time dissertation defenses.

The members of the Academic Council have made decisions regarding changes in the editorial boards of the university's periodic publications.

Traditionally, the Academic Council approved a series of educational and methodological as well as scientific publications for printing.
