Meeting of the Academic Council of the university

A meeting of the Academic Council of the university took place in Karazin University.

At the beginning of the meeting, the members of the Academic Council approved the decision to award the title of Honorary Doctor of Karazin University to Ukrainian musician, public figure Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and American historian, writer Timothy David Snyder.

"The community of Karazin University has been replenished, we have received two more honorary doctors. I am sure that together we will do a lot for the university, education, science and enlightenment, for our Victory! The newly elected honorary doctors of the university also promised to visit Karazinsky, so we are very much looking forward to and will be happy to welcome them in Kharkiv," said university rector Tetyana Kaganovska.

Among the main issues on the agenda was the report of Vice-Rector Anton Panteleimonov "On the results of scientific work at the university in 2022". The academic council of the university listened to the report of the vice-rector Vasyl Blyndyuk "On the approval of the university's policy in the field of public procurement" and "On the financing of student self-government in 2023" and approved the proposals of the vice-rector Anatoly Babichev "On the approval of the strategy of environmental sustainability of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University to 2030", "About the approval of candidates for participation in the "Young Person of the Year-2023" competition".

The academic council of the university approved a number of decisions according to the agenda, among which are the regulations on the public relations center of the Karazin University in the new edition, certification programs in 2023, etc.

The members of the Academic Council of the University approved the proposed educational and professional programs, the placement of theses of the reports on the informational web resources of the University and approved the publication of educational, methodological and scientific publications.
