Meeting of the University Scientific and Methodological Council

On 20 February 2026, the next meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the university took place, during which a number of strategically important issues concerning the organization and provision of the educational process were considered.

Iryna Zhuravlova, Director of the Central Scientific Library, presented a report on the provision of the educational process with academic and scientific literature, periodicals, and the expansion of the library’s collection of fiction. The participants discussed the state of library fund updates, access to modern electronic resources, and the need for further expansion of subscriptions to professional publications.

Ihor Danylenko reported on the planned stakeholder survey and emphasized the importance of systematic feedback for improving educational programs and enhancing the quality of higher education training.

Yuliia Chuiko informed the Council about the results of the internal audit of the university’s structural units. Based on the discussion, directions for further improvement of internal procedures for ensuring the quality of education were identified. A separate agenda item considered the draft “Regulations on the Ranking of Departments at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University”, which is expected to increase the transparency of department performance evaluation.

Serhii Kozlov presented materials regarding recommendations for publication and online placement of methodological publications. The Council approved a number of submitted works, noting their relevance and compliance with modern educational standards.
