We invite you to take an exam on the level of proficiency in the state language at Karazin University

According to the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as a State Language", persons who intend to acquire Ukrainian citizenship or apply for election or appointment to the positions defined by this Law must certify their level of proficiency in the state language as of July 16, 2021.

The state certificate of proficiency in the state language is issued by the National Commission for State Language Standards based on the results of the exams.

To conduct exams, the National Commission for State Language Standards by its decision appoints authorized institutions - institutions of higher education, which provide appropriate material, technical and organizational conditions, and technically accompany the course of the exam session.

From October 5, 2021, the exam on the level of proficiency in the state language can be taken at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
