XXV All-Ukrainian School-Seminar for Young Scientists on Statistical Physics and the Theory of Condensed Matter
On October 30–31, 2025, the I. R. Yukhnovsky Institute for Condensed Matter Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine hosted the anniversary XXV All-Ukrainian School-Seminar for Young Scientists on Statistical Physics and the Theory of Condensed Matter.
This year, the school-seminar was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of quantum mechanics and the 100th anniversary of the birth of academician Ihor Yukhnovsky, the founder of the modern Lviv School of Statistical Physics.
Twenty-four young researchers from Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa presented the results of their studies.
All presentations stood out for their originality and high scientific quality. The participants also attended lectures delivered by leading invited scientists.
The three best reports were awarded monetary prizes by the branch of the Ukrainian Physical Society at the I. R. Yukhnovsky Institute for Condensed Matter Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In particular, the winners were:
-
Stanislava Litvinova, a first-year Master’s student at the Education and Research Institute “Physico-Technical School” majoring in the educational and research program “Quantum Technologies and Quantum Computing”;
-
Oleksandr Konstantinov, a 2015 graduate of the Education and Research Institute “Physico-Technical School” (B. I. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkiv).
Congratulations to the winners and best wishes for continued success!
