Graduate of the School of Sociology Mykhailo Alekseev has been Posthumously Awarded the Order of "For Valor" of the Third Degree
By the decree of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, for personal bravery demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and dedicated fulfillment of military duty, a graduate of the Faculty of Sociology Mykhailo Alekseev has been posthumously awarded the Order of "For Valor" of the third degree.
Mykhailo served as a part of the Lviv 125th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He always had a strong civic position and was an activist and a compassionate person. During his student years, as the Chairman of the Student Council of the student town, he took care of the well-being of the dormitories.
He perished in combat in the Donbas, near Kremenna. Those who knew Mykhailo remember him as an honest, upright, and honorable person. He left his mark in the hearts of many. He was a true patriot of Ukraine.
It is a profound loss because the war takes away the best, those on whom the future of our country should rely and develop.
