Graduate Anton Korobov Takes the Second Place at the European Chess Championship

The European Chess Championship Took Place in Skopje, Macedonia, from December 5 to 8, 2024.

Anton Korobov, a graduate of the School of Foreign Languages, won the silver medal in rapid chess.

Over eleven rounds, Anton scored 9 points — the same as his opponent from Georgia. However, based on additional criteria, the Ukrainian surpassed him and secured second place.

Congratulations to Anton, and we wish him continued success in sports!
