World Tourism Day: the University Congratulates!
Traditionally, September 27 is celebrated as World Tourism Day. The holiday was established by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization in 1979 with the goal of promoting tourism activities among the global community and raising awareness about the social, cultural, political, and economic value of tourism. In Ukraine, this holiday has been observed since 1998.
World Tourism Day is not just a celebration of travel and discoveries; it is a reminder of how journeys change the world and ourselves. Karazin University, one of the leaders in Ukrainian education, proudly fosters a new generation of tourism creators within the walls of the "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business." Specialists are also trained at the School of Geology, Geography, Recreation, and Tourism.
The "Tourism" educational program is more than just theory. It combines knowledge of culture, economics, and innovation in the field of travel, enabling our students to create unique tourism projects. Here, professionals are formed who not only understand the needs of the modern traveler but also know how to offer something new and exciting.
Happy World Tourism Day!
