World Day for Safety and Health at Work

On April 28, the global community observes World Day for Safety and Health at Work — an important occasion to reflect on the value of human life, safe working conditions, and everyone’s responsibility in creating a healthy work environment.
Karazin University traditionally supports the ideas of safety and sustainable development. We firmly believe that a culture of occupational safety begins in the classroom, where future professionals learn to respect safety rules, value labor, and take care of themselves and others.
This year’s motto for World Day for Safety and Health at Work — “Exploring the impact of AI and digitalization on occupational safety and health” — highlights the influence of modern technologies on workplace safety and hygiene. Today, more than ever, we understand that caring about safety is not only a professional duty but also a civic responsibility.
Remember: even small steps — following instructions, being attentive to working conditions, supporting one another — lay the foundation for a greater cause: preserving life and health.
Safety begins with each of us.
