Certificate Presentation to Participants of the Courses within the German-Ukrainian Project 'Craftspeople without Borders'
From April to June 2024, online courses were held for teachers of vocational and technical education institutions in the Kharkiv region focused on craft specialties. Participants, including teachers from vocational schools and colleges, learned techniques for working with modern vocational equipment and methods for teaching practical exercises. The training was conducted by staff from vocational education institutions in Germany.
In total, 44 teachers, masters, and senior students from four vocational education institutions and colleges had the opportunity to exchange experiences with their German colleagues and gain new knowledge to implement in their future work.
The Education and Research Institute of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy at Karazin University was involved in the project due to its many years of experience in training teachers of vocational professions. The project was carried out with the support of the Kharkiv Regional Council and the chambers of commerce and industry of Germany, Poland, Italy, and France.
From the Education and Research Institute of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy, the following participated in the training:
- Staff from the Education and Research Center: Yurii Sychev and Oleksandr Nazarkin in the area of "Automobile Repair and Operation," and Liubov Zelenska in the area of "Welding";
- Instructors from the Department of Practical Psychology: Nataliia Kucherenco, Myriam Ladyka, Kateryna Abakumova, and Halyna Yudina in the area of "Hairdressing Art."
On October 28, 2024, a solemn certificate presentation ceremony for participants of the courses within the German-Ukrainian project "Craftspeople without Borders" took place at Derzhprom, with the participation of the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko. The ceremony was attended by the project manager, Mr. Markus Eicher, and the Head of international projects from the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Celine Wiprecht, as well as Maksym Kolynko, the Head of the Department of Territorial and Local Development and International Relations of the executive office of the regional council.
From the Education and Research Institute of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy (NNI "UIPА"), Director Denys Kovalenko and Deputy Director Oleksandr Kupriyanov were present at the event.
In the fall, the courses under the "Craftspeople without Borders" project will continue their work. Specialists from NNI "UIPА" are once again involved!
