Erasmus+ Jean Monnet EDETMS Project Visit to the Career Centre for Business and Hospitality in Lithuania
On 10–12 November 2025, representatives of the Department of Marketing and Trade Entrepreneurship of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy,” together with Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office, completed a working visit to the Career Centre for Business and Hospitality (VESK) in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The visit took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH “European Concept of Dynamic Regulation and Coordination of Examination of Goods in Customs Affairs” (EDETMS), aimed at strengthening the European dimension in educational and research activities.
During their stay at VESK, the Ukrainian delegation became acquainted with the centre’s modern material and technical facilities, which include innovative laboratories, state-of-the-art training classrooms, and specialized spaces for preparing professionals in the fields of business and hospitality.
Colleagues from Vilnius provided a detailed overview of the modernization of the educational process and infrastructure carried out over the past five years, and presented their own educational and international projects that contribute to developing students’ applied competences and enhancing cooperation with the business sector.
The Ukrainian side presented the achieved results of its project activities.
The educational institutions agreed to participate in joint projects under Erasmus+ KA2 programmes, in particular KA220-VET and CBVET, as well as to organize academic, methodological, and cultural initiatives.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed to further strengthen their partnership through participation in joint international projects, academic exchanges, and the development of joint training programmes and professional development activities.
This cooperation marks an important step towards enhancing international engagement and improving the quality of training for specialists in marketing, entrepreneurship, trade, business, and hospitality.
