Karazin University and Kharkiv have been inseparably connected since the very foundation of the University. It was the University that became the first major scientific and cultural institution of the city, and later — its heart and driving force of development. Here, ideas are born that shape the intellectual image of Kharkiv, and here generations are raised who inscribe bright pages into its glorious history.

Today, the University and Kharkiv are one. Together we withstood the first blows, together we bear the pain of losses, and together we feel pride in the strength that is forged in trials.
