Presentation of the Project Results on the Career Roadmap for Women’s Leadership in Higher Education in Ukraine by the British Council

Marina Vasylieva, Deputy Director and Professor at the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy" of Karazin University, participated in the presentation of the project "A Career Roadmap for Women’s Leadership in Higher Education in Ukraine." The project is implemented within the framework of the Going Global Partnerships initiative by the British Council, focusing on gender equality projects.
The event took place on March 26 at the Ukrinform National Information Agency. It was organized by the Innovative Generation NGO, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.

Project objectives:
The project aims to identify the barriers and challenges faced by women leaders in higher education institutions in Ukraine and the UK. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the potential of Ukrainian universities and expand opportunities for female researchers and women leaders in higher education through the development of the “Women Leaders in Higher Education” career roadmap. This roadmap takes into account gender aspects, cultural and socio-political contexts in Ukraine, and specific research areas.
