Solemn Award Ceremony for Educators of Kharkiv Region

Kharkiv Region, for more than a decade, maintains its status as the leading educational center in Ukraine. Karazin University, for many years now, has been ensuring the professional development and preparation of teachers who can provide students with personalized and socially oriented education, helping children prepare for the challenges of the future. Working with educators from the region and across Ukraine is one of the university's priority areas.

A solemn award ceremony was held at Karazin University, where educators from Kharkiv Region were honored with commendations from the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and the Kharkiv Regional Council.

Honorary guests and the university administration, including:

• Olga Bezpalova, Director of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration;
• Yevhenii Hrytskov, Advisor to the Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council;
• Svitlana Volianska, Head of the State Educational Quality Service in Kharkiv Region;
• Liubov Pokroieva, Rector of the Municipal Higher Educational Institution "Kharkiv Academy of Continuous Education";
• Oleksandr Holovko, Vice-Rector of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

They congratulated the teachers of Kharkiv Region who successfully underwent certification in 2023. Over 40 educators received Honorary Diplomas and Appreciations from the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, as well as Diplomas and Appreciations from Kharkiv Regional Council.

For the fifth consecutive year in Ukraine, a voluntary certification process has been taking place for pedagogical workers to support and recognize their efforts in ensuring continuous professional development and to enhance the social status of teachers. During the period of 2019-2023, 242 elementary school teachers from Kharkiv Region successfully underwent the certification process.

On behalf of the certified educators, Svitlana Paliivets, a primary school teacher from the Slatyn Lyceum of the Dergachi City Council, expressed gratitude for the organization and support on the path to professional growth.

Congratulations to the educators on their successful certification! Karazin University confidently opens a new chapter in the development of pedagogical education.
