Within the Erasmus+ Project "Curriculum Reform to Promote Peace Education in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova / PeaceEdu," Karazin University Representatives Visited the University of Innsbruck (Austria)

From June 26 to 29, 2024, a study visit for the Erasmus+ project teams "Curriculum Reform to Promote Peace Education in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova / PeaceEdu" took place at the University of Innsbruck (Austria).

From Karazin University, the event was attended by the project manager, Associate Professor of the Karazin Business School Yuliia Kvitka, and project team representatives - Associate Professor of the Karazin Business School Yuliia Prus and Associate Professor of the School of Law Viktor Savchenko.

During the three-day event, representatives of national teams from Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova presented national reports assessing the feasibility of developing educational programs in peacebuilding, taking into account the results of focus group surveys conducted with pre-university educators and higher education institution students. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to learn about the experience of implementing peacebuilding educational programs at the University of Innsbruck.

While working in multinational groups, the participants agreed on the content of the educational program components, the main approaches, and the timeline for their development. As a result of the meeting, the strategy for project dissemination, quality management approaches, and the next steps for project activities were agreed upon.

Moreover, participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the experience of implementing peacebuilding educational programs at the University of Innsbruck. During the work in multinational groups, the content of the educational program components, the main approaches, and the timeline for their development were agreed upon. Based on the meeting results, the project dissemination strategy, quality management approaches, and next steps for project activities were agreed upon.
