The Head of the International Relations Office at Karazin University, Iryna Shteimiller, conducted an informational event titled "Participation in the European Union's Horizon Europe Program Projects under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions."
Iryna Shteimiller serves as the head of the National Contact Point for the Horizon Europe Program in the direction of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, which is the European Union’s primary program for funding doctoral research and postdoctoral training for scientists.
The university’s Vice-Rector, Anton Panteleimonov, emphasized that establishing a National Contact Point is a highly significant step as it promotes the expansion of networks and enables Ukrainian scientists to learn from the best practices of their European counterparts.
Iryna Shteimiller highlighted that the main goal of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions is to support the development of international collaboration for researchers and create conditions for universities and research institutions to train highly qualified personnel. During the meeting, she provided detailed information about the components of this initiative, the types of programs and calls, and outlined the timeline for programs open for submission in 2025.
Additionally, during the event, the head of the NCP for the "European Institute of Innovation and Technology," Professor Vitalina Babenko, presented opportunities for participation in projects under this direction.
