The Karazin Weekends Legacy Project was Ceremoniously Launched at Karazin University

On November 18th, Karazin University opened the doors to a magical world of knowledge and discoveries for students in grades 8-11.

The unveiling marked the beginning of Karazin Weekends Legacy, a revamped project that, for the second consecutive year, provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magical student life and become members of the grand Karazin family.

In the magnificent Hogwarts of Kharkiv, guests were greeted by the Sorting Hat, which descended from the pages of the fantasy series about Harry Potter by British author J.K. Rowling. With its help and consideration of the participants' interests, they were sorted into four schools named after the first deans of Karazin University:

• Stoykselvand - School of Exact Sciences;
• Shumus - School of Natural Sciences;
• Umlauf - School of Social Humanities;
• Shadius - School of Financial Management Sciences.

The university was so infused with the power of magic that among the festival guests, one could encounter the image of Vasily Karazin himself.

A surprise for the students was a quest through the magical labyrinths of Karazin, during which they visited locations with interesting and interactive tasks for a deeper immersion into the university's history.

At the final destination, the YermilovCenter, a center for contemporary art, students were welcomed with solemn greetings from the university administration, deans, and institute directors. Participants attended their first lecture as part of their education and learned about the peculiarities of the 2024 admissions campaign.

The magical sounds of the Karazin Orchestra and the enchanting singing of the Ad Libitum academic student choir became unforgettable gifts for the guests of this fantastic celebration.

Participants can look forward to 8 weeks of delving into the most interesting secrets in a specific direction, involving not only theory but also practice. Girls and boys who attend at least half of the classes will be invited to the graduation ceremony — the most magical evening of their lives.
