Karazin University Hosts Meeting with Representatives of Casus Pax (UK)

Karazin University continues to expand its international cooperation. On April 11, 2025, the University welcomed the founder and leaders of the UK-based charitable organization Casus Pax — Adam McQuire and Holly Tunn.

The guests met with Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov, Head of the Department of Computer Physics at the Education and Research Institute of Computer Physics and Energy Kostiantyn Niemchenko, Acting Deputy Head of the International Relations Office Tetiana Krasnenkova, and International Relations Officer Oleksandr Kryvtsov.

Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov introduced the guests to the structure of the University, its faculties, and research institutes. The visitors were pleasantly impressed by the wide range of academic programs, especially showing interest in physics and the presence of several physics-oriented faculties.

Kostiantyn Niemchenko shared the scientific achievements of the Institute of Computer Physics and Energy. The guests presented the institute with several BBC Micro:bit controllers for future use in the educational process.

Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov noted that these controllers will be integrated into the activities of the Landau Centre after the completion of renovation works.
