At V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Engineers Future school has begun operating — an educational project for school students interested in a future engineering career. The school is designed as an interest-based club where participants aged 10–17 can develop practical skills in relevant technical fields, from robotics to 3D modeling. Classes are held in person in a safe space at the university.

As noted by Artur Cherniuk, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering, in an interview with the Kharkiv media outlet Radio “Nakypilo,” participants have already started getting acquainted with electronic components, completing their first practical tasks, and creating simple engineering solutions. The program will later include work on robots, unmanned systems, and automation.

Students can choose one of the following tracks:

  • robotics;

  • automation;

  • unmanned systems;

  • 3D modeling and 3D printing.

The organizers plan for the school to become a platform not only for introducing innovative technologies but also for students’ further development in technical education — including opportunities to enroll at Karazin University and participate in research projects.
