Educational Process Launched at Karazin University for the 2025/2026 Academic Year for Teachers and Lecturers of Educational Institutions

On September 10, 2025, the educational process began at Karazin University for teachers and lecturers of English from selected gymnasiums of the Nemishlianskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of Kharkiv, as well as from a regional community-owned college.

During the training, participants of the professional development courses will be offered diversified lectures, practical sessions, and workshops on lesson planning and conducting classes in the 8th grade, applying indices according to the new programs of the “New Ukrainian School” in a blended format, assessing students of basic secondary education by groups of results, using innovative methods of teaching English, overcoming educational gaps, preparing for certification, and effectively preparing graduates for the 2026 National Multi-Subject Test (NMT), among other topics.

For working with postgraduate education participants, regular external partners were engaged — highly qualified teacher-trainers from the municipal institution Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 77 of the Kharkiv City Council.

At the introductory session, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education, Mykhailo Tatarynov, introduced participants to the regulatory and organizational aspects of training, provided instructions on life and health safety requirements under martial law conditions, and answered teachers’ pressing questions.

The educational process will continue until September 19, 2025, and until October 3, 2025, according to the schedules.
