At Karazin University, the Second Semester for Teachers and Educators in Professional Development Courses has begun
Starting from January 16, 2025, Karazin University launched professional development courses for teachers and educators in various fields, including Ukrainian language and literature, English language, Ukrainian history, physical education, world literature, social pedagogy, practical psychology, as well as for teachers involved in inclusive education and providing psycho-emotional support to different categories of learners.
Participants in the professional development process for educators and administrators, conducted at the university's Center for Postgraduate Education, include representatives from educational institutions in three districts of Kharkiv, urban and rural territorial communities of the Kharkiv district, three regional municipal institutions of Kharkiv region, and institutions of professional pre-higher education in Kharkiv and Odesa.
The training will be delivered by highly qualified academic and teaching staff, practicing professionals, platform authors, audit experts, and lecturers from the historical and philological faculties. For the first time, instructors from the Education and Research Institute "Teacher Training Academy" of Karazin University, along with long-standing external partners from municipal institutions such as "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 51," "Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 77," and "Kharkiv Inclusive Resource Center No. 1" of the Kharkiv City Council, will also contribute to the courses.
During the introductory session, the director of the Center for Postgraduate Education, Mykhailo Tatarynov, answered participants' questions regarding the specifics of the educational process under the diversified scheduling model. He also conducted a safety briefing on health and life protection in the context of martial law and addressed current issues raised by the educators.
The educational program will run until February 6, 2025.
