Karazin University raised over 230,000 hryvnias for the 120th Battalion of the 113th Brigade!
These are the results of this year's Christmas charity evening organized by the Student Council, with the IT company NIX as the main sponsor. The format this year was intimate, with an entry based donation, and took place in a shelter. Guests enjoyed performances by talented students, as well as the outstanding performance of the Karazin Orchestra and the Flash Drums ensemble.
On the eve of the evening, student deans from each school opened a donation bank, where funds were collected. All the money raised will go towards meeting the needs of the 120th Battalion of the 113th Brigade, specifically for:
- Charging station
- Batteries for Mavic
- Camouflage suits
- Radios
The tradition of charitable winter evenings has long existed at the university. For example, in 2019, funds were raised for the purchase of equipment for the pediatric surgery department of the V. T. Zaytsev Institute of General and Urgent Surgery of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The goal of the 2021 ball was to purchase a hematological analyzer for the Saltiv Medical Complex.
The university takes pride in its unbreakable family, which, for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion, revived an ancient tradition and raised a significant amount for the warriors of Ukraine. We thank the Ukrainian military for the opportunity to live and work in free Ukrainian Kharkiv.
