The Meeting with Food Security Experts Took Place at Karazin University
On April 18th, the Rector of the university, Tetyana Kaganovska, and the Dean of the School of Sociology, and Head of the Kharkiv team of the Fusilli project, Olena Muradyan, met with leading experts on food security.
In particular, the meeting was attended by the Head of the office of the World Food Program of the UN in Dnipro, Salim Musa, the specialist in coordination and management of information of the Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster of the Eastern Hub, Vitaliy Razhivin, a graduate of Karazin University, a leading expert in program policy, agriculture, and mine action project of the UN WFP, Nina Yarosh.
During the meeting, the participants discussed future cooperation of Karazin University with key stakeholders involved in shaping the strategy of food security, energy independence, and sustainable development of the Kharkiv region.
The meeting marked the beginning of an important dialogue aimed at increasing the efficiency of cooperation regarding future development of the region.
