Training under the “School of Pedagogical Innovation” Programme Launched at Karazin University

Starting from 23 December 2025, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has launched professional development courses under the educational working programme “School of Pedagogical Innovation.”

The participants of the programme are academic and teaching staff from selected departments of the School of Medicine, the School of Medicine II, and the School of Foreign Languages.

The educational process for the participants will be delivered by leading lecturers of the School of Psychology, Associate Professors Oleksii Nalyvaiko and Liliia Zotova. While mastering the programme modules, particular emphasis will be placed on the modernisation of pedagogical, psychological, and information-digital competencies of lecturers; the development of new models of “Teacher–Student” interaction in a blended learning environment; the acquisition of innovative principles in the educational process aimed at achieving the strategic goals of a modern classical university; the development of stress resilience as a factor of psychological well-being of participants in the educational process under martial law; the exploration of ethical, legal, and security aspects of applying digital technologies in teaching, research, methodological, and academic activities; and the development of fundamental principles of mental health.

During the introductory session, conducted by Mykhailo Tatarynov, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education, the following issues were addressed:

  • analysis of the specific features of training under the “School of Pedagogical Innovation” programme and possible options for selecting final thematic assignments;

  • briefing on life and health safety regulations for course participants;

  • clarification of the format and specifics of lectures, practical classes, and training sessions;

  • responses to questions from participants of non-formal postgraduate education;

  • conducting an entry evaluation to identify the level of motivation and practical expectations of participants for the subsequent implementation of acquired competencies in working with students, as well as in further research, methodological, and didactic activities of lecturers at the relevant faculties.

The educational process will continue until 26 February 2026.
