Trainings “European Experience for the Ukrainian School”: Join Us!

We invite everyone interested to participate in the training “European Experience for the Ukrainian School”, organized within the framework of the project Eastern Ukrainian Centre of European Studies / EAUCES – ERASMUS-JMO-2024-COE 101176972, implemented at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Experience how living history, modern politics, and digital security can become accessible and practical tools for your teaching!
This program is specially designed for educators who want to integrate European studies into the school curriculum, update their teaching methods, and better prepare students for life in a globalized digital world.

Historical Stages in the Formation of European Communities and the EU

2 hours lecture + 2 hours workshop
Learn how the idea of peace led to the creation of a unique supranational community — in a fascinating historical journey!

Introduction to the Institutional System and Policies of the EU
Lecturer: Valerii Reznikov
2 hours lecture + 2 hours workshop
Understand how the EU works from the inside and what policies affect the daily lives of Europeans.

Exploring Europe: Didactic Materials for Teachers
Lecturer: Tetiana Kovalenko
2 hours lecture + 2 hours workshop
Ready-made tools, interactive methods, and ideas for lessons — everything you need to engage your students!

Digital Literacy: How to Protect Students from Disinformation? The Experience of EU Countries
Lecturer: Olena Chernenko
2 hours lecture + 2 hours workshop
Learn how to teach students to think critically and navigate the information space.

  • Total duration: 60 hours (16 hours online + 44 hours of self-study)

  • ECTS credits: 2

  • Format: interactive lectures + practical case studies
