Training on the tactical medicine basics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The unbreakable Karazinites continue to work and make every effort to ensure that Ukraine is confidently approaching the Victory!
The instructors of the Karazin School of Emergency and Tactical Medicine of the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education of the Karazin University School of Medicine conducted a training on the basics of tactical medicine for the military personnel of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the place of temporary deployment.
The training was conducted according to the program of the international protocol "Tactical Combat Casualty Care" (TCCC), developed by the American National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT, USA) and adopted as a standard by most NATO countries.
Additionally, the unit’s combat medics were instructed on how to provide certain types of medical care to the wounded at different stages beyond the international protocol.
The Karazin School of Emergency and Tactical Medicine is a certified educational center of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, which has three certified instructors of this respected, world-renowned organization. They are also practicing physicians with extensive experience in emergency procedures in various clinical situations, which made it possible to train military personnel at the highest level.
