On November 11, Karazin University became a space of warm conversation, poetry, and artistic inspiration. On this day, a meeting was held with writer, artist, and creator of the Cat Inzhyr — Olena Pavlova.

At the Museum of History, the exhibition “Fight — and You Will Overcome! Action Plan” opened — a series of 13 motivational posters combining modern graphics with quotes from Ukrainian classics and contemporary authors.

The exhibition featured conversations about Skovoroda, Stus, Teliga, Ivasiuk, and Zabuzhko — figures who inspire the Cat Inzhyr to fight, love, and create. “Books are tangerines for the mind and multivitamins for mental health,” Olena reminded the audience. She encouraged not only observation but also co-creation: everyone was invited to draw their own cat.

After the exhibition opening, the writer presented her poetry collection “Svitlochutlyvi” (“Light-Sensitive”), published by The Old Lion Publishing House. In it, she unfolds a multilayered and finely tuned world defined by the ability to “feel” light in all its forms. This is poetry that comes from the very heart of being and seeks the echo of the human soul, nature, and time — continually trying to understand why “light” can be so different: from gentle to unbearable.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the crucial role of photography in the book:
“What do you need for a photograph? A person who carries love inside. Without love, it simply won’t appear in the frame, won’t imprint on the sensor.”
The poet talked about drawing inspiration from music, photography, architecture, and museum visits — about inspiration that is born despite everything.

The exhibition will continue at the Central Scientific Library of Karazin University. We invite everyone to experience the power of words and art in the world of the Cat Inzhyr.
