Eduard Zub Scholarship: Call for Applications

We invite applications for the Eduard Zub Scholarship — an initiative aimed at supporting young historians, local history researchers, journalists, and students working in the field of Ukrainian history research and promotion.
The initiative is implemented with the participation of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, the Charitable Foundation of the Alchevsky-Beketov Family, and V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The Scholarship is open to young researchers and promoters of Ukrainian history who:

are citizens of Ukraine;
-
specialize in one or more of the following topics:

the history of Kharkiv;
-
the repressive policies of the communist totalitarian regime;
-
the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921, with a focus on the local context;

church and religious life in Ukraine during the communist totalitarian regime;
-
-
adhere to principles of academic integrity;
-
demonstrate an active civic position.
Age limit: Applicants must be 40 years old or younger at the time of receiving the Scholarship.
Applicants must demonstrate confirmed experience in at least two of the following areas within the last five years:

Writing scholarly or popular-science publications (publication list required);

Conducting historical tours (confirmed with posters, photos, videos, etc.);

Delivering public lectures to a wide audience, including in media;

Creating their own history-related promotional product (blog, page, channel) with an audience of more than 1,000 subscribers.
