University Students Win Medals at the Semifinals of the World Programming Contest for Teams of Southeast European Universities

On May 22-23, 2021, the semifinals of the World Programming Contest for teams of Southeast European universities, which is held annually by the Association for Computer Machinery, took place.

The Ukrainian Programming Championship was also held within the semifinals.

Two teams of Karazin University, consisting of students of the School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, won prizes:

— first place and gold medal were won by a team consisting of Ilia Koval, Denys Ostashev, and Artur Kravtsov;

— third place and bronze medal were awarded to the team consisting of Oleksii Kolotyl, Viktoriia Kovaleva, and Denys Smirnov.
