A third-year student of the Department of Political Sociology at the School of Sociology and Media Communications, Kateryna Ivanchykhina, has started her semester studies within the Joint Study international academic mobility program.

The studies take place at the Alpen-Adria University of Klagenfurt (Austria) — a modern research center distinguished by high educational standards, an international focus, and active scientific work.

Kateryna is studying specialized courses in socio-political and marketing research, gaining international experience that will enhance her competitiveness in the labor market.

In addition, Yelyzaveta Shyriaieva, a student of the educational program “Sociology of Communications, Advertising, and Public Relations,” is taking part in the Erasmus+ international academic mobility program.

Within the program, Yelyzaveta will study at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Helsinki (Finland) during the autumn semester of 2025.

During her studies, she will take courses covering contemporary areas of sociology, political communication, media studies, and consumer culture research.

Participation in these programs will help expand the students’ professional competencies, familiarize them with European teaching and research approaches, improve their language skills, and develop intercultural competence.

We wish Yelyzaveta and Kateryna successful studies, new acquaintances, and achievements in the international academic community!
