Student of the Education and Research Institute "UIPA," Tetiana Kostrova, Became a Finalist of the "21 Days of Good Deeds" Marathon by the AVA City School of Volunteers

Tetiana Kostrova, a student of the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy" of Karazin University, became a finalist in the "21 Days of Good Deeds" marathon organized by the AVA City School of Volunteers.

Oleksandr Vlasenko, Director of the Department for Family, Youth, and Sports Affairs, awarded the marathon finalists who actively participated in charitable initiatives throughout November as part of the AVA School of Volunteers.

Participants completed various daily tasks aimed at helping others and developing their leadership skills.

Key directions of the marathon included:

  • Animal welfare: Participants fed stray animals, helped spread adoption announcements, and assisted in finding new homes for four-legged friends.
  • Environmental initiatives: Youth actively engaged in cleaning urban areas, learned to sort waste, and collected batteries and bottle caps for recycling.
  • Social responsibility: Participants learned sign language, showed care for others, promoted a healthy lifestyle within their communities, and informed audiences about worthwhile charitable initiatives to join.
  • Self-development and leadership: Young people shared their projects aimed at fostering youth leadership and self-realization.

Over 21 days, marathon participants demonstrated a high level of social responsibility and active citizenship.

Through the marathon, young people learned how to organize and conduct events, work in teams, communicate effectively with diverse groups, and address social challenges.

The "21 Days of Good Deeds" marathon proved that Kharkiv's youth are active and compassionate individuals, ready to contribute to solving social issues.
