Student Volodymyr Kochanov – a Medalist of the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championship in Freestyle Wrestling

Volodymyr Kochanov, a student of the "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business," won a bronze medal at the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championship in freestyle wrestling.

In addition, following his participation in international competitions, the Kharkiv Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine recognized Volodymyr as the Best Athlete of October 2024 and the winner of the regional contest “Star Athlete of Slobozhanshchyna.”

It should also be noted that, according to an order from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Volodymyr Kochanov and his coaches have joined the national team of Ukraine, which will prepare for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA.
