From 15 to 23 November 2025, Margarita Shpak, a student of group HM-13 at the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, completed an internship at the University of Duisburg–Essen (Essen, Germany) within the international DUHN project, in which the Karazin University School of Chemistry is a participant.
During the internship, the student attended lectures on modern research methods in functional materials and materials science, carried out the synthesis and analysis of gold nanoparticles and pigments, and worked with SEM, NTA, DLS, UV and IR spectroscopy techniques. Based on the results of the internship, Margarita received a certificate.
We wish Margarita every success in applying the skills she has gained to her studies and research at her home university!
