Series of Guest Lectures on Educational Leadership by Visiting Professors

From March to May 2025, the Academy of Teaching held a series of guest lectures as part of its collaboration with the University of Warwick (United Kingdom), focusing on the current challenges in the field of education during times of uncertainty.
The event was organized with the support of the EdCamp Ukraine NGO and the International Renaissance Foundation.
The speakers for the series were invited professors at Karazin University:

Professor Gwen van der Velden, a seasoned academic leader from the University of Warwick with nearly 30 years of experience in higher education, and

Andy Hind, Head of the Centre for Teacher Education at the University of Warwick, an expert in teacher training for international schools and crisis management in education.

Participants had the opportunity to explore examples of successful practices, engage in discussions on change management strategies, and exchange experiences related to effective education policy implementation in times of crisis.
In addition, all those who successfully passed the final assessment received professional development certificates.
