Working Visit of Karazin University School of Chemistry Representatives to the Côte d'Azur University (Nice, French Republic)
From June 29 to July 6, 2025, a working visit took place involving representatives of the School of Chemistry at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University — Professor Oleksandr Kyrychenko and Associate Professor Nataliia Leonova — to the Institute of Chemistry at the Côte d'Azur University.
The visit was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. During the meetings, a wide range of issues were discussed related to expanding scientific and academic cooperation between the School of Chemistry of Karazin University and the Institute of Chemistry at the Côte d'Azur University. In particular, topics included the initiation of new joint research projects, the development of joint Master's programs, and the implementation of dual-supervision PhD programs.
As part of the visit, on July 2, 2025, the successful defense of a Master's thesis took place at the Institute of Chemistry of the Côte d'Azur University. The thesis, titled "Computer-aided design of novel inhibitors and ligand-protein interactions in oncology-relevant proteins", was presented by Karazin University chemistry student Vira Morozova, who studied under a dual degree program.
Collaboration with leading European scientific institutions within the framework of European Union programs, particularly Erasmus+, is a strategic priority of Karazin University’s international activities and contributes to strengthening its position in the global educational and scientific community.
