Christmas Concert at Karazin University
Christmas Concert Held at Karazin University Featuring Soloists and Creative Ensembles of Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts
On December 19, Karazin University hosted a warm winter event — a Christmas concert featuring soloists and creative ensembles from the I. P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts.
The evening began with welcoming speeches from Karazin University's Vice-Rector Oleksandr Holovko and Kotlyarevsky University's Rector Nataliia Hovorukhina.
"Christmas is a true celebration! It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere, to feel joy and hope. In these challenging times of war, this is especially important," noted Vice-Rector Oleksandr Holovko.
"We want to gift you a real celebration of classical art. Over the past few years, we have provided more than 200 free concerts for the people of Kharkiv. We believe this kind of support is our duty, and we are happy to fulfill it," said Rector Nataliia Hovorukhina.
The concert was rich with classical music, beautifully performed by representatives of Kotlyarevsky University. Highlights included Natalia's aria from the opera Natalka Poltavka by Mykola Lysenko, an alumnus of Karazin University, and the final duet of Oksana and Andriy from the opera Zaporozhets za Dunayem by Semen Hulak-Artemovsky, a professor at Karazin University.
May this inspiring holiday spirit stay with us until the New Year! Wishing everyone warmth, comfort, and peace!
