Results of the Annual Exhibition-Competition of Educational and Scientific Literature

The 24th annual exhibition-competition of educational and scientific literature was held at Karazin University. On May 12, 2025, the jury unanimously decided to award the winners based on the voting results:

In the category "Educational Literature for Higher Education"

First Degree Diploma — for the set of educational manuals:

  • "International Human Rights Law": a textbook by Professor and Head of the Department of International and European Law at the School of Law Tetyana Syroid, and Associate Professor Lina Fomina of the same department;

  • "Public International Law. International Protection of Human Rights": a manual for preparing for external independent evaluation by Professor Tetyana Syroid and Associate Professor Lina Fomina.

Second Degree Diploma — for the set of educational manuals:

  • "Health, Safety, and Well-being": an integrated course textbook for 6th grade of general secondary education institutions by Associate Professor of the Department of Genetics and Cytology at the School of Biology Olha Taglina;

  • "Health, Safety, and Well-being," 6th grade: a workbook by Associate Professor Olha Taglina.

Third Degree Diploma — for the educational manual:

  • "Economic Statistics": a textbook authored collectively by the Department of Statistics, Accounting and Auditing and the Department of Economic Theory and Economic Methods of Management at the Faculty of Economics, edited by Oksana Nesterenko, Volodymyr Soboliev, and Tetiana Chala.

In the category of Scientific Literature (Monographs)

First Degree Diploma — for the monograph:

  • "Formation and Temperature Stability of the Liquid Phase in Thin-Film Systems": a collective work by the Department of Experimental Physics at the School of Physics, including Leading Researcher Serhii Dukarov, Senior Researcher Serhii Petrushenko, Leading Researcher Serhii Bohatyrenko, and Associate Professor Volodymyr Sukhov.

Second Degree Diploma — for the collective monograph:

  • "Modern Communicative Spaces: An Attempt at Sociological Conceptualization": edited by Professor Vil Bakirov, Department of Sociology and Social Communications, School of Sociology.

Third Degree Diploma — for the monograph:

  • "Terahertz Laser Beams: Formation, Transmission, and Control": a collective work by the Department of Quantum Radiophysics, School of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics, and Computer Systems, including Associate Professors Andrii Dehtiarov, Mykola Dubinin, Professor and Head of Department Vyacheslav Maslov, and Senior Researcher Vladyslav Seniuta.
