The National Research Council of Spain has published the latest edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World’s Universities January 2025 (2025.1.0beta).
Karazin University has risen three places compared to the previous ranking edition, securing 4th place among domestic higher education institutions and 1955th position globally.
The ranking evaluates the online presence of nearly 32,000 universities worldwide.
When compiling the ranking, the developers assess both the content and informational aspects of the institution's website, including the number of pages indexed by search engines, external links to the site, citation of the resource, the number of files uploaded to the site, and more.
