Results of QS World University Rankings 2025: Karazin University is Among the World's Best Universities!

On June 4, 2024, the results of the QS World University Rankings 2025, compiled by the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds, were released. This year, 5,663 universities from various countries around the world were evaluated, and 1,504 higher education institutions made it into the ranking. In comparison, last year 2,963 universities were evaluated, and 1,503 were ranked.

According to the ranking results, Karazin University was positioned 741–750 on a global scale and retained the second place among Ukrainian higher education institutions. Additionally, the university maintains the top spot among Ukrainian universities for the student-to-faculty ratio. Furthermore, Karazin University improved its position in the "sustainable development" indicator from 9th place among Ukrainian universities last year to 3rd place this year.

Alongside the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the QS World University Rankings is one of the most influential and relevant university rankings. The level of achievement of universities is assessed based on a combination of statistical analysis of institutional performance, audited data (including citation index information from the Scopus database), and data from a global expert survey of the international academic community and employers.
