Results of the Regional Stage of the All-Ukrainian School Physics Olympiad

On January 18, 2026, the II (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian School Physics Olympiad for students of grades 8–11 from general secondary education institutions of Kharkiv city and Kharkiv region took place.

The Olympiad was organized by the Municipal Institution “Kharkiv Regional Junior Academy of Sciences of the Kharkiv Regional Council” and the Education and Research Institute “School of Physics and Technology” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The organizing committee of the II (regional) stage of the Olympiad was headed by Olena Kuripko-Semenukha, Acting Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
The jury was chaired by Valerii Lisovskyi, Professor of the Department of Reactor Materials Science and Physical Technologies of the Education and Research Institute “School of Physics and Technology”.

A total of 229 students from general secondary education institutions of the city and the region participated in the Olympiad. The competition consisted of two rounds: a theoretical round and an experimental round. The appeal review took place on January 25.

The winners of the Olympiad were determined, and the best students were recommended to participate in the III stage of the All-Ukrainian School Physics Olympiad.
