Results of the Final Stage of the All-Ukrainian Students’ Tournament of Young Physicists

From January 30 to February 4, the II (final) stage of the annual All-Ukrainian Students’ Tournament of Young Physicists was held online.

Seven teams from five regions of Ukraine took part in the intellectual competition. Kharkiv Region was represented by the “Obdarovanist” team, formed from students of the specialized boarding school of the same name, and the combined team “Moment of Impulse.”

Both teams advanced to the final physics battle of this stage and secured the top positions in the team rankings. They were joined in the final by the team of the Richelieu Lyceum (Odesa).

First place was traditionally won by the students of Honored Teacher of Ukraine, Professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Zakhar Maizelis (team “Moment of Impulse”).

Ten students and graduates of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University were involved as members of the jury.
