Regional scientific competition of young scientists "Gender policy through the eyes of Ukrainian youth"

We invite you to take part in the 15th Regional Scientific Competition of Young Scientists "Gender Policy Through the Eyes of Ukrainian Youth".

Organizers of the competition: Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O. M. Beketov.

The purpose of the competition is to help ensure the comprehensive implementation of gender equality and non-discrimination in the education system and to determine ways to direct the development of new Ukrainian education to the systematic observance of the gender approach, which will ensure its compliance with global democratic principles, strengthening the institutional mechanism for the establishment of gender equality, development, popularization of activities, generalization and dissemination of the experience of the network of gender centers of higher education institutions.

The main questions for scientific and practical analysis:

• gender strategies: history and present;
• gender equality as a factor in the European integration of Ukraine;
• gender aspects of sustainable development;
• the gender component in the fields of health care, ecology, social protection, education, culture, etc.;
• the issue of combating discrimination based on gender; ways to overcome negative traditional gender stereotypes.

Authors of original scientific works under the age of 35 can participate in the competition.

The competition will be held in 3 categories: students of professional pre-higher education institutions; students, masters of higher education institutions; graduate students, young scientists, teachers of higher education institutions.

Applications are due by April 5, 2021.
