Implementation of the International Project EURIDICE at Karazin University
At Karazin University, the first year of the international project EURIDICE (European Inclusive Education for a Digital Society, Social Innovation, and Global Citizenship) is being implemented with the support of the European Union under the Erasmus+ program.
EURIDICE has an exceptionally strong consortium consisting of eleven partner universities from across Europe, two digital research centers of excellence, two socially-oriented cultural institutes, six small and medium enterprises, and four associated partner universities, three of which are from the Global South.
As a partner and participant in the EURIDICE project, Karazin University is developing and implementing joint international educational programs in digital society, social innovation, and global citizenship.
In June 2024, a series of highly interesting expert lectures in English were delivered by specialists from Karazin University:
- Olena Chernenko, PhD in Law, presented legal regulations on countering cyber threats and ensuring cybersecurity in the EU.
- Viktoria Bolotova, PhD in Sociology, discussed social challenges and threats in the digital technology era.
- Dmytro Uzlov, PhD in Technical Sciences, and Vladyslav Hudilin, a cybersecurity specialist, shared insights on attack and defense in cybersecurity.
- Alina Kalashnikova, PhD in Sociology, talked about the physical manifestation of the digital society: forms, things, spaces.
In October 2024, Karazin University, together with its partners, will offer master's students interesting modules for study, scholarship and project opportunities, professional development for teachers and business representatives, and much more.
