Psychological Support for Karazin University Members

16 october 2024 year

The team of psychologists from the Center for Extracurricular Activities at Karazin University offers all students and staff free support to improve and maintain their mental health. Specifically, you can:

  • Receive an individual psychological consultation from specialists — completely confidential and remote. This support helps in dealing with stressful situations, developing self-regulation skills, and confidently moving towards your academic and life goals. You can learn more about the practicing psychologists on the university's website.
  • Join art therapy sessions using neurography (every Thursday at 17:00) in both online and offline formats (safe environments in Kharkiv). These sessions allow you to tap into your inner resources, learn to express emotions through creativity, and find harmony in your life.
  • Attend the lecture course "Traditional Ukrainian Culture and the Development of Non-Conflict Communication" (every Wednesday at 15:30). This course is dedicated to identifying key issues that arise in communication, diagnosing personal communication and behavior traits in conflict situations, and developing non-conflict communication skills in various settings.
  • Become listeners and active participants in the Lecture Series (every Monday at 17:00), which includes lectures and workshops from invited speakers on topics such as the legal protection of women's rights and freedoms, information hygiene basics, and threats in the information space.
  • Participate in meetings within the framework of the Gender Platform — an innovative online space dedicated to meaningful conversations about gender issues and women's leadership.
  • Female students who have experienced violence or belong to at-risk groups can receive safe, comprehensive psychological assistance through group rehabilitation sessions.

Psychological support contacts: Telegram, Facebook, university website, Telegram chat (for booking consultations), and email at psyhelp@karazin.ua.
