Erasmus+ Project “PeaceEdu – Curriculum Reform to Promote Peace Education in Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova”: Consortium Meeting at the University of Hildesheim
On 18–21 November 2025, within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Curriculum Reform to Promote Peace Education in Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova / PeaceEdu,” a consortium meeting was held at the University of Hildesheim (Germany).
During the meeting, teams from Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova presented the results achieved within the project, discussed the challenges encountered during its implementation, and shared best practices. This was followed by a general discussion of the presentations and feedback from European partners.
Participants also took part in a workshop dedicated to developing an interregional course, based on the initial structure created by the EU team during the peacebuilding seminar.
Additionally, Frans Krüger from the University of Nottingham delivered a lecture titled: “From Multiperspectivity to Public Encounters: Rethinking Critical Peace Education Through Disconnection and Companionship.”
At the end of the visit, the participants discussed strategies to ensure the sustainability and visibility of the project results, with a focus on dissemination, long-term impact, and planning future initiatives.
Moreover, the consortium took part in a study tour and seminar at the Documentation Centre for Displacement, Expulsion and Reconciliation in Berlin.
