In 2025, the Center for Postgraduate Education, in collaboration with the schools and research institutes of Karazin University, continues the implementation of the education and scientific cluster “Karazin University — for Metro School Students of Kharkiv,” initiated in 2024.

On February 5, 2025, for 10th–11th grade students of the Metro School at the municipal institution “Kharkiv Lyceum No. 104 of the Kharkiv City Council,” a workshop titled "EcoProject: Solutions for a Sustainable Environment – Practical Cases" was held. This event was organized within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the Education Department of the Industrial District Administration of the Kharkiv City Council, as well as the cooperation agreement between the university and Kharkiv Lyceum No. 104. The workshop involved the director and academic staff of the Research Institute of Ecology.

This collaboration with high school students allowed for practical engagement and the integration of various educational systems (higher education, general secondary education, science and education, and innovative educational technologies). It aimed to implement changes focused on improving education quality, addressing "learning losses," and incorporating practical and experimental components into the distance learning process.

The event was opened by Mykhailo Tatarynov, Director of the Center for Postgraduate Education, who emphasized the importance of hands-on work for lyceum students in collaboration with the academic staff of the Research Institute of Ecology while working on mini-projects within the workshop's case studies.

She highlighted the specifics of university admission to bachelor's programs and familiarized them with the "EcoProject: Solutions for a Sustainable Environment – Practical Cases" initiative.

Academic staff from the Research Institute of Ecology, including:
